A pioneering inventive chief, former CDO of PepsiCo, set to drive Samsung’s subsequent chapter in design innovation
Samsung Electronics in the present day introduced the appointment of Mauro Porcini as its President and Chief Design Officer (CDO). Having beforehand held key management roles at PepsiCo and 3M, Mr. Porcini brings his intensive experience to Samsung Electronics additional enhancing its user-centered strategy to design innovation.
Mr. Porcini was born in Italy and holds a bachelor’s and grasp’s diploma in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy. At PepsiCo, he was credited with excellent management of the corporate’s design groups and was acknowledged as a frontrunner in design innovation, contributing to product designs in addition to the whole firm’s design course of and maximizing the model expertise.
