Besides announcing three new tablets and a new Gear VR headset, Samsung has also shed some light on the upcoming Galaxy S8 lineup. As rumoured, the South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus next month, on March 29 in New York.
This was now confirmed by a new teaser video, which takes us through the history of the cellphone, beginning in the 1980s and showcasing designs decade-by-decade. A lot of things have been said about the phone, but nothing hasn’t been confirmed.
So far, we know that both phones will feature Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895, only 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a 12-megapixel dual-pixel camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, support for wireless charging, waterproof and bezel-less design, and an iris scanner.
The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, while the Plus variant comes with bigger, 6.2-inch display. Stay tuned for more information.
