A lot of Call of Duty: WWII promotional material leaked a few weeks ago and it looks like it’s not stopping anytime soon. New images of possible poster variations appeared online today and they show a release date of Friday, November 3. Call of Duty games usually release in November so it lends some credibility to this image. Apart from that, the poster has the PlayStation 4 exclusivity marking signifying that the platform gets maps before anyone else. While someone may have photoshopped this poster and taken a photograph of the printout, it seems unlikely given the history of this leak.
While it’s impossible to verify this image, given the fact that there have been so many leaks about Call of Duty: WWII, it lends some credibility to this recent one. During a recent earnings call, Activision said that the next Call of Duty would put players’ “boots on the ground” and “go back to its roots”. Well, there’s nothing like going back to World War II which goes back to the series’ roots. Hopefully the company will issue a formal statement because this game has to be the worst kept secret in gaming history if it exists. Until then, it’s always fun to speculate because so many gamers are so passionate about the franchise. We’ll just have to wait until E3 2017 to find out for sure!
