Remember that hackathon held a couple of weeks ago in Los Angeles by AT&T to spur interesting ideas in apps to stop texting while driving? The winner was an 11 year old, Victoria Walker, who just won $ 20,000 for RodeDog, an app which uses a dog’s bark to remind people not to text while driving. The app was created by Walker and David Grau, of interactive agency WLDG. The two were part of a crowd of around 120 people at the event, which was one of a number of hackathon events in the Los Angeles area recently, looking to find talented developers and ideas.
