PresenceLearning Receives Recognition as an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Approved Continuing Education (CE) Provider

ASHA Approved CE Provider Status makes available high-quality CE offerings for speech-language pathologists (SLPs) using telepractice

SAN FRANCISCO, September 21, 2011 – The Continuing Education Board (CEB) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) has approved PresenceLearning as an ASHA Approved Continuing Education (CE) Provider. ASHA Approved CE Providers are the only organizations that can deliver continuing education courses that earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for SLPs.

SLPs are required to earn CEUs each year in order to maintain their certification. CEU-earning courses ensure that SLPs are learning the latest in evidence-based practices and incorporating those practices into the services they provide.

In order to achieve ASHA Approved CE Provider status, PresenceLearning completed a rigorous application process and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ASHA CEB standards that focus on the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its continuing education courses. PresenceLearning agreed to comply with ASHA CEB standards and can now use the ASHA CE logo on promotional course material. PresenceLearning is now listed on the ASHA CEB’s Approved CE Provider list, and its CEB-approved courses will appear in the ASHA CE Course Search on the ASHA website at www.asha.org.
