Microsoft has been rumoured for quite some time that it is working on a next-gen flagship smartphone called Surface Phone. With the recent news about leaving the smartphone business, there is very little hope to see the handset actually go live, but there could be something in the works.
According to @evleaks, Microsoft could release a new handset that will be powered by Windows 10 operating system and a laptop-class Intel processor. The tweet says that this is “Much more than just a concept. Stay tuned,” so Microsoft could be moving forward with it.
The biggest problem that Microsoft could be having with this smartphone is the battery life, especially if it would have “a laptop-class Intel processor,” but we’ll have to wait and actually see if the phone is really in development.
