Philips has introduced a curved 4K monitor that it claims is the largest on the market. The BDM4037UW is 40-inches and offers a 3840×2160 resolution. Its viewing angle is standard for curved monitors at 178 degrees.
Multiview support is included with the model, allowing four full HD inputs to be displayed on screen simultaneously.
Over a billion colors are supported and the unit comes with 85% coverage for the NTSC gamut. HDR support isn’t available.
The model has gone on sale immediately for $630, which puts it in the same price range as some competing 4K monitors.
