PayPal remains a leader in the world of web payments and yet it’s not available as a payment option on Amazon, but that could be close to changing. The company has been speaking with Amazon about bringing PayPal to the eCommerce site.

Being a payment option on Amazon would be useful for PayPal, which has struggled to grow in recent years.
Amazon’s avoidance of PayPal used to make sense when the payment platform was owned by eBay. Although it may still be hesitant to open itself up to PayPal due to its desire to focus on existing payment options tied to Amazon accounts.
