In General, a great Paperport competitor.,
At the price when I got this ($26) downloaded, this was the best possible imaging system for that kind of money available for the PC. It scans your documents in, into pre-setup folders. It is not as pre-setup for use as Paperport 14 by Nuance, but it also lacks the strict Nuance license. That is what upsets most people about Nuance Paperport 14 is that it has to be licensed for each PC, they do not like some firms, let you use one license for two computers, and these days most people have two computers.
For that reason alone, or if you don’t use imaging much and don’t mind setting up your own directories (I Mean it takes 10 mins or less) this is a fine product, well worth its low price.
I had zero issues with it, with an HP multifunction device that has a scanner, I do not have more scanners to give more info on how those may/may not work, but for what I got, it delivers, and I bet it will deliver for you too.
