Deathmatch is now an available game mode in Overwatch, allowing people to forego fighting over objectives and instead focus exclusively on killing other players. You can either fight against all other players or engage in team modes that’ll pit two teams against each other.
Blizzard’s game has only offered objective-based game modes since its release last year. Finally, the company announced earlier this month that Deathmatch would be introduced shortly.
In the Free-For-All mode, you’ll fight against seven others. The first person to reach 20 kills wins.
In Team Deathmatch, you’ll fight 6v6 and try to reach 30 kills before the other.
