Microsoft’s Outlook.com email service can now pull in LinkedIn details automatically thanks to a new integration. Email users can easily view insights, profile pictures, work history, and more information while they remain in their inbox. Microsoft now owns LinkedIn, facilitating this integration.
This capability was revealed during Microsoft Ignite last month, with CEO Satya Nadella showing how people would be able to see info from the business social network in Outlook.com.
You can use this feature by clicking on an email contact’s name, which can then bring up a pop-up Office Profile Card with some core details.
