As expected, Oppo has officially unveiled a new mid-range the F3 Lite, and released more information on the upcoming F5. The former is a lower mid-range handset that will be sold in Black or Gold for around $240, while the latter is going to be the company’s first full-screen model that comes with AI Beauty Recognition technology for selfies.
Oppo F3 packs a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 435, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, 16 MP front and 13 MP rear cameras, which is pretty decent for that segment.
As for the more interesting Oppo F5, the handset will be released on October 26 in India and other Southeast Asia Markets. It will have a 6-inches display with FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
As for the AI Beauty Recognition technology, it uses artificial intelligence to recognize skin tone and type, and make the best enhancements for each image. The AI will also self-learn and enhance each shot, as it takes more and more selfies, added OPPO.
