OnePlus is the third biggest vendor of premium smartphones priced over $300 in India and the company is determined to catch Samsung and Oppo. To do that, the company plans to start manufacturing its flagship OnePlus 3T smartphone in India starting next year.
There are also other ways to improve sales, but the company’s India operations Vikas Agarwal has confirmed that there are no plans to sell the smartphone through conventional retail outlets and that they will stick with Amazon for now. He also added that around 30 percent of sales were lost because of stock-outs.
