OnePlus is struggling lately with the software updates as the latest OxygenOS 3.2.4 did more harm than good. Now, the company is trying different approach by releasing the update first on its official forum so that users can test it and report back to them if there are some bugs.
If there are some bigger bugs, only small percentage of users will be affected. In return, OnePlus gets more feedback on what it needs to improve or fix. The OxygenOS 3.5 Community Build is now available for OnePlus 3 owners and comes with some UI and apps improvements. More about the update is available here.
