Australia is finally going to be one of OnePlus’ supported markets. The Chinese company has confirmed it’ll bring its latest flagship, the OnePlus 5, to the country this month. Initially it’s only going to offer the phone through a “soft launch,” which will help the company test its supply chain and the product.
Details about the soft launch program aren’t available.
The OnePlus 5 has been offered in the US, UK, parts of Europe, and parts of the Asia-Pacific region. According to the phone maker, the consumer experience will be improved by letting Australian consumers get their handsets directly from OnePlus vs. trying to import them through other means.
