We have all heard about the funny and potentially dangerous bug that OnePlus 5 owners were experiencing. The smartphone would shut down once a user calls 911, but OnePlus released a fix just days after the bug was discovered. Unfortunately, by doing that, the update broke some other things.
Users now complain that the battery life is draining unusual fast when the smartphone is idle and even with the Doze mode enabled, the battery drops by 20-25% during the night.
The good news is that the Chinese company is already working on OxygenOS 4.6, the next major update for the OnePlus 5, that will address the issue.
