OnePlus is currently working on an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3 model that is expected to bring only slight improvements. Besides switching from AMOLED to LCD display with resolution bump, it will pack Snapdragon 821 chipset and all of that will bring $80 higher price tag.
If you thought that the OnePlus 3T is going to be a real successor to the current flagship model, then you’ll be disappointed. However, the company is already working on a real successor that is expected to be released in June or July next year.
According to first information, the handset will use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 830 chipset clocked at 3.0 GHz and paired with Adreno 620 GPU, while a 4,000 mAh battery will keep the phone alive. Android 7.0 OS will come pre-installed. That is all we know for now, so stay tuned for new information.
