Last year on 11.11 at 18:56 one of the Xiaomi stores reached record score of 1 billion yuan sales. It was incredible and many people have been thinking this record won’t be improved in the coming years. But everything in this crazy world has gained momentum and gadget sales are no exception. This year Xiaomi and its sub-brands have done their best to beat all their closest rivals, and seems they succeeded. Today at 17:02:02 the same store reached 1 billion yuan sales number, which is almost two hours less than what was required a year ago. So it turns out Xiaomi sales are getting momentum and Mi products sell faster than ever.
Though this is not still over, and most likely we’ll see some other new products, there are a lot of devices won customers’ hearts. Xiaomi launched its first standalone and full-featured smartwatch dubbed as the Huawei Amazfit, the first robotic vacuum cleaner known as the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum, its first bezel-to-bezel phablet called the Mi Mix and so on. But I suppose the most selling products of Xiaomi is their smartphones like the Mi 5S or the Mi Note 2. All these devices and gadgets see their highest sales at one date – double 11 (11.11).
The Chinese version of Black Friday is a great chance for both customers and retailers to acquire/sell millions of different products. As for manufacturers, they come with different promotion campaigns to attract more buyers. Thanks to this and other deals the store has reached 1 billion yuan sales faster than ever, and we assume it will get faster next year.
