  • What are the best features of the OM-D E-M1 Mark II that make it stand out?

The best features of the OM-D E-M1 Mark II is the high speed performance and new AF system for capturing split-second moments. The E-M1 Mark II is able to capture the moment with 18fps sequential shooting with C-AF. It is outstanding as compared to other cameras in the market.

  • Who do you think the OM-D E-M1 Mark II is made for?

The OM-D E-M1 Mark II would be suitable for professional photographers and advanced amateurs. Notably, it is good for users who like to shoot wildlife, especially moving targets such as birds and animals. Paired together with the weatherproof and compact body, the OM-D E-M1 Mark II would be perfect for these users.

  • In the market of flagship smartphones, do you think DSLRs and pro cameras still have their place and are they worth the price?

Yes, DSLRs and pro cameras will still have their place in the imaging community. Even in the future, a smartphone will not be an alternative to a pro camera even in the future. I can’t imagine smartphones being used to cover great sporting events.

  • What advice do you have for amateur smartphone photographers who want to make the leap to using pro cameras?

I would advise to shoot as many images as possible and learn from images shot by other photographers. There are many different photographic expressions that can be captured with the camera. Experiment with every aspect from the camera system to the lenses and even flashes. Capture beautiful starry nights with long exposure, wildlife with telephoto lenses, landscapes with wide angle lenses and recreate red carpet moments with a good flash. Enjoy the journey and with each new image brings a new lesson!
