The very first benchmark result of the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card has leaked online, courtesy of a leaker on Chiphell forums. Along with the benchmark screenshot, the leaker has also posted a GPU-Z screenshot, confirming the final specifications of the card.

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, similar to the GTX 1050, is going to be based on the GP107 ‘Pascal’ silicon. It will be replacing the GTX 750 Ti as well as the Maxwell-based GTX 950. Going by the GPU-Z screenshot below, the card will feature a total of 768 CUDA cores, 48 Texture Mapping Units, and 32 Raster Operation units. As for clock speeds, the screenshot reveals a 1291 MHz core and a 1392 MHz boost clock. In terms of memory, the card will include 4GB of GDDR5 memory, clocked at 7 GHz.

Now let’s talk about the leaked benchmark screenshot. According to the screenshot shared by the Chiphell forum member, the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti scores 10,054 points in 3DMark 11 with the performance preset and 3,867 points in the extreme preset. These scores are about on par or higher than the average scores managed by the GeForce GTX 960. However, despite being capable of GTX 960-level performance, the card will surprisingly not require any additional power connector. It will instead draw power directly from the motherboard PCI-E connection.

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is expected to be launched later this month with a $149 price tag. Its less powerful sibling, the GeForce GTX 1050 on the other hand is expected to be priced at just $119, which should make it a great choice for casual gamers.
