NVIDIA has finally announced the mobile GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti GPUs for notebooks. Similar to other “Pascal” mobile GPUs, the GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti Mobile too are identical to their desktop counterparts as far as the core specs are concerned.

The GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile feature a 1354 MHz core clock and a 1455 MHz GPU Boost clock, while the more powerful GeForce GTX 1050 Ti features a 1493 MHz core clock and a 1620 MHz GPU Boost clock. As some of you can tell, the GeForce GTX 1050 features clocks more or less similar to its desktop counterpart, while the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile is clocked higher than the desktop GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile, based on the 14nm GP107 Pascal silicon, comes with a total of 768 CUDA cores, 48 Texture Mapping Units, 32 ROPs, and up to 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit wide interface. Based on the same silicon, the GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile features 640 CUDA cores, 40 Texture Mapping Units, 32 ROPs, and up to 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit wide memory interface.

A number of new notebooks powered by the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile and GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile GPUs are expected to showcased at CES 2017 this week. Some of the first notebooks to feature the new GPUs include the new Alienware 13, MSI GE62, Asus GL502, HP Omen 15, Clevo P640, and the Dell XPS 15.
