In case you are not familiar with the concept, the Nvidia GTX Battle Box is a prebuilt system for both the high-end as well as the mid-range PC users. You can choose out of two different versions, the Nvidia GTX Battle Box Ultimate and Nvidia GTX Battle Box Essential.
The Ultimate will be fitted with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (FE) and the Essential a GeForce GTX 1060 (FE). A new option has been added though, you may now choose the box with an Intel Core i7 CPUs or AMD Ryzen 7 CPUs are the base minimum. You can not choose with an i5 if you want the GTX 1080 Ti. That is where the essential comes in. If you do not need all the power of a core i7 and a GTX 1080 Ti then you can opt for the Nvidia GTX Battle Box Essential which features the GTX 1060 and the minimum CPU that you can opt for is the i5 or AMD Ryzen 5.
The systems otherwise get an SSD and either 8 or 16GB of DDR4 memory. Currently I do not have the release date or the prices for the new Nvidia GTX Battle Box.
