Nokia made headlines this year when the company launched the Nokia 6 which was the first smartphone from the company after it came back from dead. Nokia 6 turned out to be a huge hit in China and the company then launched Nokia 3, 5 and 6 at the MWC this year. These three might be good budget friendly devices, but we will still are waiting for a smartphone from Nokia that will give competition to the likes of Galaxy S8, OnePlus 5, Mi6, Pixel 2, etc. Nokia 8 and 9 are coming this year as the high-end smartphones from Nokia And guess what we got the specifications, pricing as well as the launch date of the Nokia 8 today.
NOKIA 8 SPECIFICATIONS, PRICING AND LAUNCH DATE
So, without any doubt, this phone is all set to give competition to all the latest flagship and premium smartphones of this year. As per the leak via Roland Quandt, the Nokia 8 packs a Snapdragon 835 processor, clocked at 2.45GHz It is the same device that appeared on benchmarking platforms with the model number HMD Global TA-1004. There aren’t many details about the specs, but it is revealed that the phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.It is expected that Nokia 8 will feature 5.7-inch Quad-HD Display, but we doubt this, and there are chances that it is the Nokia 9 with this much big screen. Lastly, the phone will come in three different color options – blue, steel (silver), gold/blue, and gold/copper.
Now let’s talk about the price. Well, the Nokia 8 will retail for €598 or approx $686 or 4652 Yuan. Well, this isn’t cheap for sure, and we never expected it to be cheap as we all know Nokia 6 is also slightly overpriced for the specifications it offers. Talking about the launch date, the Nokia 8 will be available for purchase from 31st July, so it won’t be wrong to say that the phone is launching before the end of July.
