Finnish company HMD Global promised to reveal details about it Nokia-branded smartphones later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC), but until then fans continue to let their imagination run wild.

Some who are more talented in the design department have taken it event further and have put together a couple of concepts that are so good HMD will have a hard time not disappointing its fans.

The latest Nokia concept comes from Concept Creator and shows the rumored Nokia 8, a device was supposedly shown at CES 2017 early this year. When talking about concept phones, the name of the device is less important, so let’s jump directly into the juicy stuff.

First of all, the concept is based on the leaked pictures that have been running on the internet since the smartphone was spotted at the trade fair back in January. Obviously, HMD might have other plans concerning its flagship smartphone, so the concept shown in the video might end up being completely different.

The Nokia 8 concept features a compact, candy bar form factor with squared corners and a metal frame. The 22.3-megapixel rear-facing camera is slightly protruding from the back case, but it’s not something that you could hate.

The 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top side, while the bottom features the USB Type-C port. We’ve also noticed that the creator of the concept has decided that Nokia 8 should pack dual-front speakers.

There’s no physical Home button, as the stunning 5.7-inch display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution covers the entire front part. The left and right bezels are very thin, but the top and bottom bezels are pretty obvious.

Naturally, there’s no point talking about the hardware inside the Nokia 8 since this is just a concept, which is supposed to maintain the hype around the smartphone through looks, not performance. Do you think HMD will be able to deliver something close to what we’re seeing in the video?
