Nintendo is planning to manufacture significantly more Switch units during the next fiscal year. In the current year it’ll sell an estimated 14 million consoles, yet it wants to make 25 to 30 million units between April 2018 and March 2019 (fiscal year 2019), according to the Wall Street Journal.
It’s already started telling business partners about its intention to boost production. If the Nintendo Switch does better than anticipated during the holiday season, it could make even more units, with the belief that demand will remain quite high over the next year.
