A teaser for Meizu’s upcoming flagship smartphone has leaked online, revealing a September 3 unveiling. It also confirms “Pro” branding for the device, just like other recent flagship smartphones from Meizu. However, it remains to be seen if the company will market it as the Pro 7 or Pro 6 Pro.
While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it is possible that the device set to be unveiled at the event next month could be the recently leaked Meizu_m96. The AnTuTu benchmark listing for the device revealed flagship grade specifications, including an Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood.
Apart from the Exynos 8890 SoC, the smartphone is expected to sport a Quad HD resolution display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, 12MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
