Samsung is working on two new clamshell smartphones for 2016 and one of them is the successor of the Galaxy Folder. Unlike the W2017, which is a flagship clamshell phone, the new Galaxy Folder 2 is a more affordable device with mid-range specifications and a price tag of $280.
The Galaxy Folder 2 will have a 3.8-inch display, a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor paired with 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and a 2,000 mAh battery, which should take you through the day. The rear and front cameras are 8 and 5-megapixels, respectively, the device run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. There is no official word from Samsung, but it should hit the market in the coming weeks.
