January is ending in a couple of days and February is going to be a great month for smartphones since phones like Galaxy S9, S9+, etc. are launching next month. It is expected that company will also launch the Xiaomi Mi 7 at the MWC 2018 next month as the company has already announced that the phone is coming with Snapdragon 845 processor. Also, yesterday, a new report suggested that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S might launch before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 and if this is true, then we might not see Snapdragon 845 running on this phone since we expect it to be featured in the Mi 7 and the Mi Mix 3.
According to one of the employees in the company who is at a high rank, the company will be there at the MWC 2018, but we shouldn’t expect any major announcements. By major announcements, it means there won’t be any smartphone launch. It is also reported that Xiaomi will announce the Surge S2 chipset at the event so that might be the only announcement happening at MWC.
With the rumors of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and the reports of delayed launch of Xiaomi Mi 7, it is now pretty interesting to see what phones Xiaomi is preparing to showcase this year as we have a long list of phones like the Mi 7, Mi Max 3, Mi Mix 2s, Mi MIX 3, Redmi Note 5, Mi 6X and more. Some of the things that are almost confirmed about the Xiaomi Mi 7 include a Snapdragon 845 processor, 18:9 display, 4or 6GB ( or maybe 8GB) RAM and dual cameras. We are also expecting to see wireless charging support, something that we missed so far from Xiaomi. What are your expectations for the Mi 7? Do let us know via the comments section.
