MSi will be releasing a new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, the new model might be aimed at the Asia market solely. Photos appeared by Hermitage Akibahara showing a sizable card that from the looks of it is even larger than the GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z.
The card was demonstrated at the Tokyo Game Show. Specs wise this card seems to use Torx 2.0 fans and has three speed options, silent mode, gaming mode and OC mode (software configurable). The silent mode and gaming mode clock at a 11,016MHz effective memory clock rate. The OC mode at 11,124MHz effective. Silent mode has the base/boost clock at 1480/1582MHz, gaming mode at 1544/1657MHz then the OC mode at 1569/1683MHz.
Power delivery is fed by two 8 pin connections, the card has a backplate. You can spot a RGB LED strip on the backplate. There are dual HDMI and DisplayPort ports, also one DVI connector. The MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio would be available for sale on 12 October. At this time the suggested retail price is not known.
