Netflix Begins 4K Streams To Some Windows 10 PCs

Key parts of Netflix’s library are available in 4K, though the service hasn’t been streaming content at that resolution to most devices. That’s beginning to change now that 4K streaming is available for Windows 10 PCs, but there are some hardware and software restrictions.

You must use the Microsoft Edge browser, you need a 4K display, and a 7th Gen Kaby Lake Intel processor is required. Kaby Lake processes might be required since they come with HDCP 2.2, which helps to prevent the copying of 4K videos.

Netflix also streams 4K content to Smart TVs and 4K streaming devices. You must pay for a 4K subscription.
