Motorola’s Moto Z Droid (known internationally as the Moto Z) is undoubtedly one of the most innovative new smartphones released this year. While other companies have launched modular smartphones before Motorola, none of them really made a positive impression on reviewers. The Moto Z series on the other hand, introduces a completely new approach that is definitely superior to its rivals. If you live in the US, the modular flagship can now be yours for a monthly payment of $4.99 for a limited period.
Major US retailer Best Buy is currently selling the Moto Z at $4.99 for a period of 24 months, which is a pretty sweet deal when you consider Verizon’s pricing of $10 a month. But of course, you will need to be quick, as Best Buy may not offer the smartphone at this price for long. Both the black as well as white color options are available at the discounted price currently. However, if you wish to get the Moto Z Droid in Black, you will need to purchase it from a Best Buy store near you. The White/Fine Gold one on the other hand can be bought off the company’s online store.
The Moto Z Droid features a 5.5” Quad HD AMOLED touch-screen display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory, 13MP rear camera with 4K video capture, 5MP selfie camera, 2600mAh battery, a USB Type-C port, and all the latest connectivity features. The smartphone was also recently updated to Android 7.0 Nougat, so it runs on the latest available version of Android.
