The upcoming Moto Z Play has made its way to the popular GFXBench graphics benchmark database, days before its official unveiling.
The GFXBench listing basically re-confirms the handset’s key specifications yet again. As we’ve already known for quite a few weeks now, the smartphone will feature a large 5.5-inch sized 1080p display and is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset clocked at 2 GHz. In terms of memory, the prototype that passed through GFXBench featured 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
At the back, the Moto Z Play is going to be equipped with a 16MP primary shooter, which will be capable of shooting videos at up to 4K resolution. For selfie lovers, the Moto Z Play will have a 5MP camera on the front, which will be capable of shooting videos at 1080p resolution.
Similar to the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force, the Moto Z Play will support MotoMod modular accessories as well. Another major highlight of the upcoming smartphone is expected to be great battery life, thanks to a 3600mAh capacity battery inside.
The Moto Z Play is tipped to be officially announced on September 6.
