The Moto M has just been listed on the Lenovo China website, a day before it is set to go official. The listing reveals almost all the key specs of the device as well as its pricing for the Chinese market.

The smartphone features a new metal unibody design that is quite unlike anything we have seen recently from Motorola. It features a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and is powered by the Helio P15 octa-core chipset from MediaTek, clocked at 2.2 GHz. As revealed in leaks earlier, the Chinese variant features 4GB of RAM and includes 32GB of onboard storage.

The rear camera is a 16MP unit, with phase detection autofocus. The front-facing camera is an 8MP unit, which should please most selfie fanatics out there. Unfortunately though, it turns out the report suggesting a 5100mAh battery inside the Moto M was inaccurate, as the smartphone only packs a decent 3050mAh battery inside its full-metal jacket. It does come with support for fast charging though, so you should be able to charge it up very quickly.

The Moto M has been listed with a price tag of RMB 1999 on the Lenovo China website, which converts to $295 or S$410. More details regarding availability in markets outside of China could perhaps be revealed tomorrow at the official launch event.
