Moto G4 Play to be updated to Android 7.0 in june
Moto G4 Play to be updated to Android 7.0, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus have already received the Nougat 7.0 update back in March this year. Following, The Moto G4 Play will also receive the Android 7.0 Nougat in June, confirmed by Lenovo itself.
The G4 Play is a lower-cost option to the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4. It comes with a 5-inch (720p) HD display and has a Snapdragon 410 SoC and an Adreno 306 GPU. There’s also 2GB RAM and 16GB storage storage that’s expandable via a microSD card. The phone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.
Moto G4 Play was announced with Android 6.1 Marshmallow operating system last August. The report comes from Android Authority reveals that the Motorola smartphone G4 Play will receive Nougat’s 7.0 latest by the month of June.
Days ago, Lenovo also confirmed that the Moto Z Play will be updated Android 7.1 Nougat as well, the smartphones which was originally launched with Android Marshmallow, with the Nougat update the Moto Z Play is expected to bring several upgrades and improvements to the device.
