It is not common for a smartphone to go on sale even before it is formally announced by its manufacturer. As strange as it may sound, the unannounced Moto E Power went on sale in Hong Kong today with a price tag of HKD 1,098 or $141.
The Moto E3 Power is identical to the regular Moto E in most areas, except for battery and memory. While the regular Moto E3 features a 2800mAh capacity battery, the Moto E3 Power packs a larger 3500mAh unit. In terms of memory, the E3 Power gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable onboard storage.
The Moto E3 Power was recently spotted on Indian import and export tracking portal Zauba, with the model number XT1706. Motorola India too has been teasing a new smartphone with a large battery this week, so it looks like the formal announcement could be near and India could be the second country where the Moto E3 would be on sale.
