On September 27, Xiaomi plans to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Mi 5s. According to new details, Xiaomi will announce not only one, but two high-end smartphones. Besides the Mi 5s, the company will also introduce the Mi 5s Plus smartphone.
Not much is known about the handset since this is the first time we hear about it, but it should pack a 5.7-inch dual-curve display, Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6 GB of RAM.
As for the Mi 5s, the new live images reveal that Xiaomi has ditched the physical home button. They also confirm the rumours about the use of Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner which is embedded under the glass.
After confirming dual rear cameras, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Mi 5s will feature a ceramic body. The handset will reportedly retail for CNY 1,999, which is around $300, while the 5s Plus will be priced at CNY 2,999 ($450). More details will be known in two days.
