MLCC maker Walsin Technology saw its net profits grow nearly 30% sequentially to NT$711 million (US$22.52 million) in the third quarter of 2016. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$1.22 for the three-month period.
Net profits for the three quarters of 2016 reached NT$1.577 billion or NT$2.84 per share.
The company also reported revenues of NT$4.924 billion for the third quarter, up 6.4% on quarter. Combined revenues for the January-September period totaled NT$13.787 billion with a gross margin of 23.6%.
The company’s stock price slipped NT$1.10 to finish at NT$38.55 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the October 27 session.
