MIUI Screen Recording Feature To Come In a Month

216

When iPhone and Android users want to record a video of their screen they should either use a third-party apps or root / jeailbreak their handset to add this functionality. Screen recording is demanded nowadays either for business or for individual purposes. So OS developers should think about adding this feature to their software. Oops! Seems I am a bit late with my perfect idea – MIUI8 users will get an OTA update by the end of February that will allow them to record their screens activity.

This new MIUI8 built-in feature allows some Xiaomi users to add screen recording feature without root. Moreover, no matter what is happening on your phone at a certain moment as the screen recording feature will adjust the resolution, video quality and number of frames itself. At last, the play / stop button won’t appear in the recorded video.

The first phones to get this OTA update with a screen recoding functionality onboard will be available for the Mi3, Mi4, Mi5 and Mi Note first. The rest of the phones will get it a bit later. MIUI official team has also stated this screen recording feature won’t be compatible with other third-party apps. Thus you won’t be able to use Play Store apps like AZ Screen Recorder, Mobizen Screen recorder, Stream and so on.

At last, the MIUI Developer Edition screen recording feature will be the fastest functionality in this category. As I said, it will become available for download by the end of February. So it’s left only one month before MIUI8-running Mi handsets will be able to use such a useful feature.
