Xiaomi is launching the MiUI 9 on 26th July along with the Xiaomi Mi5X that has already leaked a lot of time, giving us information about its specifications as well as the price and the design. Now, it is pretty sure, and every knows that the Xiaomi Mi6 will be among the first phones to get the next big update of the MiUI. But guess what, one more device is on the list to be the first Xiaomi phone to get MiUI 9, and that’s the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X or Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm.
If you recall, last year, the MiUI 8 arrived in May, and almost eight devices were eligible for the closed beta testing. But, for the MiUI v9, there are only four devices ( including the Mi5X). The post on official Mi Forum says –
In order to ensure MIUI 9 offers a great user experience in terms of stability, smoothness, and better battery backup, a limited amount of devices will receive MIUI 9 in the first batch followed by others. The updates will roll out successively. What’s more, the list of selected beta testers for certain devices will be announced successively too. So stay tuned for the latest news about MIUI 9!

It certainly seems like the stable MiUI 9 build is coming later this year and also, the beta version that is currently being rolled out is for the Chinese ROM, and there is yet no information about Global ROM. As always, we will keep you updated so stay tuned.
