As Xiaomi officially announced the global rollout of MIUI 9 two weeks ago, more smartphones are now receiving the update. According to posts on Xiaomi’s official community forum, two new handsets, the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5s Plus, are now receiving the update.
There are various of new features and improvements so if you own one of the aforementioned devices, you should download the update. The MIUI 9 update for Xiaomi Mi 5 handset is 571 MB, while the update for Mi 5s Plus is twice the size – 1.3 GB.
