While many have been updated to the new version of MIUI, the MIUI 8, which have been released recently, it seems that for Xiaomi this is not enough, and they are already working on a new version, the MIUI 9!, according to a leak in the web portal Toutiao.
As we can see in the picture, the MIUI 9 base will be 6.9.23, and it is believed that this new version of MIUI will be released in conjunction with a new Xiaomi phone.
MIUI 9: The possibilities of its release
We strongly suspect that may be released in conjunction with the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but it is not unreasonable to think that maybe Xiaomi is working on a separate phone to be released with this version of MIUI to replace to the MIUI 8 and that at the same time will be a phone that will compete with the future Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the recently released the Xiaomi Mi5s for see who wins more #XiaomiLovers.
Who knows? Maybe this new Smartphone with MIUI 9 can be the recently rumored the Xiaomi Mi5c.
