Hello there Xiaomi fans and users, today I bring you the full changelog and download links to the latest iteration of the China Developer MIUI 8 software for Xiaomi smartphones, MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 6.10.20. I’m sorry this is coming late; I’ve been busy with some things. About two days ago, the MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 6.10.20 Changelog Preview was released and I told you that this week’s update is going to bring a new design to the verification messages interface. However, that’s not all. You also get some bug fixes like you get it in the Global Beta ROM.
In this week’s update, a wide range of Xiaomi devices are supported (more than usual 😉 ) and as usual, you are given the option to update your phone either via Fastboot or via Recovery. I’m sorry to inform you that the MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 6.10.20 update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm Edition has been suspended until further notice because it failed our stability test for this new ROM, and flashing it might cause massive system errors.

Side note: Only one new feature was added this week, and apart from that you get some bug fixes and performance optimizations. Not much is going on this week.
- A new card design has been added for verification messages interface to make content more readable. This is explained better in the China Developer 6.10.20 changelog preview.
- MIUI Forum app has been optimised. Performance has improved, likewise speed.
- Improved battery and performance stability.

Problem(s) you might encounter
If you’re using the latest developer ROM on Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, please don’t flash back to stable ROM or developer ROM prior to 6.9.9, otherwise, there might be SIM card recognition issue.
How to Flash MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 6.10.20 / Download Links
- Go to the ROM download page and select your smartphone from the list of devices on the page.
- On the next page (download page for your device selected in above step), you will see two ROM download rows, the first for Stable ROM and the second for Developer ROM. Navigate to the second option (Developer ROM) and click on the Download Full ROM button to download MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 6.10.20 for your Xiaomi smartphone.
- If you’re using last week’s version of the MIUI China Developer ROM, you will get MIUI 8 OTA update notifications on your phone. Otherwise, you can check the Updater manually for updates. Remember to backup important data before upgrading.
