In July last year, Xiaomi launched the MIUI 9, which is so far the biggest update to the much popular custom Android skin from Xiaomi, MIUI. The rollout began last year, and just a couple of days, we revealed the official list of 40 Xiaomi phones that are going to get the official MIUI 9 update. Among those, there were also the phones for whom this will be the last update to MIUI like Xiaomi Mi2, Redmi 1s, etc. Today, there was a 2017 summary meeting of Xiaomi that included the Co-Founder and also the Senior Vice President of the company.  At the event, the Vice President, Hong Feng, announced the MIUI 10 i.e., the successor to the MIUI 9.

It was previously rumored that this would be called MIUI X, but that is not happening as it is going to be called MIUI 10. Now since it has been officially announced, the main development team of Xiaomi will now move to the development of MIUI 10.  There are no details of the new specifications as only the announcement took place today but soon, we are going to get these details too as we got last year in case of the MIUI 9.
