Misfit has been working on a new smartwatch since January and what looked like a promising smartwatch is now becoming all but that. Although it was stated at CES 2017 that it would, according to the company’s own Instagram account, Misfit’s first full smartwatch won’t have standalone GPS.
Instead, it will have the so called “connected GPS”, which gets data from paired smartphones. The company plans to launch the smartwatch by the end of the summer and its price will be set at around $200, which isn’t bad, but many won’t buy it due to the lack of GPS.
