A tool for learning coding has been added to Minecraft: Education Edition. The feature, known as Code Builder, has launched today in beta. It’ll typically appear inside the game as a robot and users can interact with it to learn coding skills.
You’ll be able to program actions for the robot to carry out using platforms like Tynker, Scratch, and MakeCode. Those who have more knowledge can forego the in-game robot and code in the game directly with JavaScript.
Education Edition is available for students, teachers, and school staff on Windows 10 and Mac OS.
