Microsoft took the wraps off its very first All-in-One PC at the 2016 annual Microsoft Surface event, dubbed the Surface Studio. The All-in-One PC is a premium offering, with prices starting at $2999 (US) for the base variant and going up to $4199 for the top end variant with all the bells and whistles.

The biggest highlight of the Surface Studio is its gorgeous 28-inch display panel, which happens to be the thinnest LCD monitor inside a PC yet at 12.5mm. It offers an incredible 4500 x 3000 resolution in a 3:2 aspect ratio, resulting in a pixel density of 192 pixels per inch. The display supports the web standard sRGB color space as well as the much wider DCI-P3 gamut. Additionally, you get 10-point MultiTouch as well as magnetic pen support.

Graphics are powered by NVIDIA’s Maxwell-based NVIDIA GTX 965M GPU on the base model and the NVIDIA GTX 980M on the top end model. Connectivity features include four USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, mini DisplayPort output, Gigabit Ethernet, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Xbox Wireless. It also comes with a 5MP front-facing camera, which supports Windows Hello feature and can record videos at up to 1080p resolution. The All-in-One runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system and comes with a 30-day Office trial.
