On Microsoft boards, various Microsoft Surface Pro 7 customers at the moment are complaining about random shutdown points.

“For me, if I’m using the device and then stop doing anything for like 30 seconds to 1 minute, then it just shuts off. Black screen. Another person corroborated the same story saying, “I’ve been having the same issue, it’s a huge nuisance. I love my surface pro 7, but if this does not get fixed soon I’m looking at returning and getting a different computer. As a student, this type of issue is detrimental to my learning.”

Microsoft had responded shortly and has acknowledged that the corporate is at present investigating the difficulty. “Thank you for reporting this issue, we are actively investigating. Please continue monitoring this thread for additional information and continue to check for Windows Updates,” the consultant stated.

While there will not be official workarounds obtainable from Microsoft but, some Surface Pro 7 customers had been in a position to clear up the random shutdown problem by following the next steps:
