We haven’t seen anything special from the new Surface Book, but Microsoft did unveil something excited during its Windows 10 event in New York and that is the company’s first all-in-one PC. As rumoured, Microsoft has added another device to its Surface family.
Dubbed the Microsoft Studio, the PC features 28-inch 4.5K Ultra HD PixelSense multi-touch display that is also the world’s thinnest LCD monitor ever built, measuring 12.5mm. It also comes with a Surface Pen, Surface Keyboard and Surface Mouse.
Inside aluminum chassis is Intel’s latest i7 processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, up to 2 TB rapid hybrid drive, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M GPU, a 5 MP camera, and 802.11ac WiFi. Microsoft Surface Studio is now available for pre-order in the US through Microsoft Store and will begin shipping in limited quantities from mid-December
Depending on hardware options, it will be available for $2,999, $3,499, or $4,199.
