Handset-use audio component maker Merry Electronics has reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.09 billion (US$65.7 million) for November, hitting a monthly record for the sixth consecutive month and representing an increase of 7.32% on month and 75.92% on year.
Accumulated 2016 revenues through November totaled NT$14.92 billion, increasing 33.21% from a year earlier.
Since the company’s sales performance in October and November both were better than expected, Merry’s revenues for the fourth quarter of 2016 are expected to grow 10% on quarter to NT$5.4 billion, according to an estimate by industry sources.
Buoyed by strong sales in the fourth quarter, Merry is expected to post an EPS of over NT$9 for all of 2016, the sources added. The company already posted an EPS of NT$6.97 in the first three quarters of the year.
The company’s stock price shed NT$2 to close at NT$125 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the December 6 session.
