After months of rumours and leaks, Meizu has finally took off the wraps from its two flagship smartphones, the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. The most interesting feature of the phones is the secondary display on the back, which shows information such as weather, time, notifications and can be used while taking selfies with the dual 12 MP main cameras.
Despite rumors claiming one of the Meizu Pro 7 variants will be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 chipset, both devices come with MediaTek chips inside. The Pro 7 is available with Helio P25 and Helio X30, while the Plus variant only packs Helio X30 chipset.
The metal unibody packs 3,000 and 3,500 mAh batteries, respectively, and both models support mCharge 4.0 that lets you charge up to 70% in 30 minutes with 25W charger.
The Meizu Pro 7 starts at 2,880 yuan or $430, with Helio X30 version priced at 3,380 yuan or $500. The Pro 7 Plus starts at 3,580 yuan or $530 , while the top model sells for 4,080 yuan or $600. Both models will go on sale in China on August 5.
